More A-Z

While doublet making today, I did some forward planning.  A list, in other words.

It's a pretty simple list and it has nothing as elaborate as theme attached to it, but it does cover most of the letters.

K is eluding me at the moment, but I have starting points for all the rest.  No guarantees that any will be used, but they'll be a handy fallback.

Knavery, knife, kite, king, Kwik-fit, koala, kedgeree, kangaroo, knee, Kansas, knight, Knossos ...

  1. Hi Amanda .. thanks for coming over to my blog - As I have no idea which castle you can see - I'm stumped - but if it comes up let me know! Some funny ones - so you won't be there. Bob Scotney is also doing Castles .. he's number 48 ..

http://bobscotney.blogspot.co.uk/ and his blog is here ..

He may give you one or two ideas for your students - on history---- not on doublets ..

Kangaroos - do they wear doublets???

See you very soon at the As ... cheers Hilary

Thanks for the pointer to Bob Scotney. How interesting.

    1. Once again, thank you for the link. I shall contain my curiosity until you reveal the letter R in all its glory.

  3. When I first read this I was confused - I thought you were creating an 'A' list, then you went onto 'K' my mind did a double-take. Ignore me.

I've also disabled word verification for the purpose of A-Z, so if you'd be so kind as to test it out for me, that would be great.

I hear Blogger has an update? Any idea what it is? And are you using it?

    1. Now you come to mention it, I can see how that could happen.

Will be along to check word verification off-ness right away.

I've dutifully clicked on the "try new blogger interface" thingy and seen no difference at all, so I've no clue if I'm using it or not. Helpful.
